How you pay
Through AkwaRemit only, into the State Treasury Single Account. The Portal shows the fee for the Local Government Area you selected and no officer can change it. If you are at a Secretariat, you pay at the AkwaRemit channel there — never in cash to a person.
Fees are not refundable
That applies whether your application is returned for a correction, rejected, or abandoned. But if it is returned for a correction you fix it and resubmit at no further cost — you only pay again if a rejected application is closed and you choose to start afresh.
